Junior Championship: March 8th
Obstacle Rules - Phase 1 - 2
All obstacles unless otherwise noted are single attempt obstacles. Each obstacle completed will be worth a set amount of points. After completing the course, your score will be based on the total number of points earned. The below rules explain from start to finish, how to complete an obstacle successfully. There is room for obstacle creativity as long as a rule below does not override its legitimacy. At the end of the competition, if there is a tie amongst scores, the competitor with the faster time will win.
(Upper Body Obstacle) -> From the Armpit to the Hand
(Lower Body Obstacle) -> From the Groin to the Foot
(Full Body Obstacle) -> From the head to the toes
Unless otherwise noted, trussing/padding may not be used while on an obstacle.
If competitor is too short to start an obstacle directly from the platform, they may spider wall their way up to it.
ROUND 1: (Top 10 Advance to Round 2 - top 5 from the series have already secured a spot)
There will be a 3 minute time cap (should an athlete be timed out, they will still receive points for all obstacles successfully completed).
Timer Starts: When competitor touches the red button.
Phase 2 Yellow Pegasus (Full Body): From behind the red kicker, climb up the yellow poles while they are still in the first two holes, and traverse as necessary to put one pole in the last hole, and land beyond the red kicker. Once on the obstacle, upper and lower body may only touch the yellow poles. (5 points)
Phase 2 Rope Swing (Full Body): From before the black pad jump to the rope and swing to the cargo net. Use the net as necessary to proceed under and then onto the black bar. (5 Points)
Phase 2 Bungee Frames (Upper Body): Proceed forward using the frame(s) as necessary to land on the far platform. (5 Points)
Phase 2 Under Wall (Full Body): Proceed over the first wall. Then go under the second wall. B-line it to the red box facing the phase 1 cargo net. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Over Net (Full Body): From the red box, jump to the cargo net and proceed over the first red bar onto the top of the net. Traverse the net as necessary to get into the spider wall. (May not touch red-black bar). (5 Points)
Phase 1 Spider Wall (Upper Body/Lower Body): Once in the spider wall, upper and lower body must be on the glass portion, cannot grab the top lip. Proceed as necessary to get to the black portion of the wall at the far end and land on the blue box. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Vertical Doors (Full Body): From the blue box turn left and proceed onto the red bar. From the red bar traverse the doors on the left side as necessary to get to the black bar. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Monkey Bars (Upper Body): From the black bar traverse the monkey bars as necessary to get to the far platform. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Ring Slider (Upper Body): From the platform, use the first pad to get onto the black box. From the black box, grab the ring and slide down the pipe until it reaches the clamp, then dismount and proceed toward the warped wall. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Warped Wall (Full Body): Run up the wall and grab the first slot with both hands. (Competitor has only 1 try to make it to the slot). (5 Points)
When competitor completes the warped wall Timer Stops.
MAXIMUM POINTS: 50
ROUND 2: (Top 5 Advance to Round 3)
Red titles indicate the below changes for this round;

- Changes to an existing obstacle
There will be a 4 minute time cap (should an athlete be timed out, they will still receive points for all obstacles successfully completed).

Phase 2 Rope Swing (Full Body): From before the black pad jump to the rope and swing to the cargo net. Use the net as necessary to proceed onto the black bar. (5 Points)
Red Buzzer Bonus: While on the rope swing side of the cargo net, reach down and push the buzzer with a hand (Buzzer must light up and make sound to get the points). Then proceed onto the black bar. (5 Points)
Phase 2 Bungee Frames (Upper Body): Proceed forward using the frame(s) as necessary to land on the far platform. (5 Points)
Phase 2 Under Wall (Full Body): Proceed over the first wall. Then go under the second wall. B-line it to the olympus wall. (5 Points)
OR
Phase 2 Over Wall (Full Body): Proceed over the first wall. Then go over the second wall. B-line it to the olympus wall. (10 Points)
Phase 1 Olympus Wall (Upper Body/Lower Body): From before the red tape jump onto the olympus wall and traverse to the other side. Once on the far side land beyond the red tape. Any handhold may be used, but the top cannot be grabbed. Once beyond the red tape go around the yellow pole and proceed onto the red box facing the phase 1 cargo net. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Over Net (Full Body): From the red box, jump to the cargo net and proceed over the first red bar onto the top of the net. Traverse the net as necessary to get into the spider wall. (May not touch red-black bar). (5 Points)
OR
Phase 1 Under Net (Full Body): From the red box, jump to the cargo net and traverse the net as necessary to get into the spider wall without going on top of the net or above either red bar. (May not touch red-black bar). (10 Points)

Phase 1 Box Tumbler (Full Body): While kneeling on the black box, use body weight to roll it over once. Then proceed to the olympus wall. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Olympus Wall (Upper Body/Lower Body): From before the red tape jump onto the olympus wall and traverse to the other side. Once on the far side land beyond the red tape. Any handhold may be used, but the top cannot be grabbed. Once beyond the red tape use the two green boxes to proceed toward the bouldering wall. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Bouldering Wall (Full Body): From the green box step onto the 2x4, and with lower body remaining on the 2x4's, use any handhold to proceed from the right side of the wall to the left, landing beyond the black padding at the end. Proceed onto the red box facing the phase 1 cargo net. (5 Points)
Blue Buzzer Bonus: After touching the red hand hold at the end of the wall, climb straight up to to the top. Push the buzzer with a hand (Buzzer must light up and make sound to get the points). Then grab the red ring and belay onto the bosu ball. From the bosu jump beyond the black padding and proceed to the red box. (10 Points)
Phase 1 Under Net (Full Body): From the red box, jump to the cargo net and traverse the net as necessary to get into the spider wall without going on top of the net or above either red bar. (May not touch red-black bar). (10 Points)
Phase 1 Spider Wall (Upper Body/Lower Body): Once in the spider wall, upper and lower body must be on the glass portion, cannot grab the top lip. Proceed as necessary to get to the black portion of the wall at the far end and land on the blue box. (5 Points)

Phase 1 Monkey Bars (Upper Body): From the black bar traverse the monkey bars as necessary to get to the far platform. (5 Points)
OR
Phase 1 Monkey Spinners (Upper Body): From the black bar traverse using all and only the 5 blue monkey spinners as to get to the far platform. (10 Points)
Phase 1 Two Pads (Lower Body): From the platform, use the first pad to get to the second pad, and use the second to jump toward the springboard. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Ring Slider (Upper Body): From the springboard, grab the ring and slide down the pipe until it reaches the clamp, then dismount and proceed toward the warped wall. (5 Points)
Phase 1 Warped Wall (Full Body): Run up the wall and grab the top with both hands. May not use the slots to reach the top. (Competitor has 3 tries to make it to the top of the warped wall). (5 Points)
When competitor completes the warped wall Timer Stops.
MAXIMUM POINTS: 110
(Lower Body Obstacle) -> From the Groin to the Foot
